NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Arcadia, Florida will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 6:00 pm or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in Council Chambers at the Margaret Way Building, 23 N. Polk Avenue, Arcadia, Florida.
This hearing will include a discussion of the Clean Water Facilities Plan and associated recommendations for the wastewater collection system, wastewater treatment plant and reclaimed water facilities and associated financial impact on system users.The hearing is intended to afford the opportunity of individuals to be heard on the economic and social impacts of the location, design, and environmental impacts associated with the proposed improvements.
Funding for these improvements is anticipated to come from the State Revolving Fund Program administered by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.Financial impacts on utility users will be presented at the hearing.
All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard.
If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at the meeting or public hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose, they will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which their appeal is to be based.
