HUMAN RESOURCE DIRECTOR – FULL TIME

The City is seeking a professional to hire as its next Human Resource Director who will provide Human Resources direction and support for all areas within the City.  This person will need to have knowledge of all areas of Human Resources including recruitment and retention, benefits, leave, pay grading, assisting with the construction and completion of performance evaluations.  Will assist in writing and enforcing Personnel Policies and Procedures.   Must have good working knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act, HIPPA laws,  FMLA regulations, and Workers Compensation.  Conducts New Employee Orientation.  Monitors the City’s Risk Management Programs.

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Personnel or Public Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.  Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Human Resource field with emphasis on direct dealing with employees, and three (3) years in a supervisory capacity of any equivalent combination of training and experience.  Comparable work experience may be substituted for education requirements.    Salary:  $65,457.60 annual  (Exempt)
