Under the supervision of the Public Works Director or Public Works Field Operations Manager, the incumbent performs a variety of tasks such as maintenance and repair of City-owned buildings and services or assists in servicing/replacing simple electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, flooring, etc. Technician is responsible for the daily routine of general and preventative facilities maintenance, providing employees and general public with a safe, clean and comfortable environment. High school diploma or equivalent; supplemented by one (1) to two (2) years of responsible experience in facilities management, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must possess and maintain a Florida Driver’s License. Salary: $17.65/hr. (effective 10/1/24) Open until filled.
