The City of Arcadia will be under an Extreme Cold Weather Advisory on Saturday night, January 31st. Temperatures are forecast to drop into the 20s for several hours, creating a hard freeze.
✅ Protect Your Home & Property – Here are some important steps to help prevent damage:
• Let faucets drip (especially the one farthest from where your water enters your house)
- Insulate exposed pipes outdoors
- Cover your backflow device
• Cover outdoor faucets
• Open cabinets under sinks to allow warm air to circulate around pipes
• Cover pool pipes and pump
• Turn off irrigation system and drain any remaining water
• Locate your main water shut-off valve so you can act quickly if a pipe bursts
